It is easy to travel through Bucharest. The underground network is spread all over Bucharest or you can call a taxi company or you can simply take a walk.
The town is crossed from north side to south side by wide avenues, from Triumph Arch to the Civil Center where you can visit the outstanding building of Palace of the Parliament, which intersects with others that spread towards east-west direction. Calea Victoriei, which follows Kisseleff Road, is bordered by important public buildings: National Museum of History and Post Palace, and towards the south part of the avenue there is Cismigiu Park, an excellent space for relaxing in the middle of a tumultuous town.
Magheru Avenue is going in a parallel direction from Calea Victoriei, and on all its length you can find air transportation agencies, shops, modern cinemas.
If you are a nostalgic of the old Small Paris, we invite you to take a walk into the historic center of Bucharest, bordered by narrow and paved streets that introduce you into the atmosphere of those old times. Lipscani, Şelari, Blănari, Covaci Streets are sources for finding souvenirs purchased from many antiquities shops.
